MIITO ORI x IBARA Denim Tabi Shoes

The soft sole fits the foot making Tabi Shoes very easy to wear and move around in. The denim is "Ibara Denim" woven in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture. Ibara Denim is a well-known traditional fabric that develops its own texture the more it is used. The mito weave is produced in Mie Prefecture. It is dyed and woven from the threads with natural indigo, and features a beautiful indigo texture. The two fabrics are finished in Hyogo Prefecture. The craftsmanship of artisans who have inherited traditional Japanese techniques. Each piece is carefully made by hand using traditional skilled techniques.
